System for mounting and fastening load-carriers and containers on the chassis of lorries by means of clamping fixtures and centring devices. A number of supports, clamping fixtures and compensators, corresponding to the container 12 to be mounted and joined together into a construction unit 13, are installed on the sides of the load-bearing frame 11, while centring devices are arranged on the load-bearing frame 11 such that the centring devices, situated at the front, absorb the horizontal lateral forces and that the centring devices, situated at the rear, absorb both the horizontal lateral forces and the centrifugal forces. <IMAGE>
