METHOD FOR STABILIZING OUTPUT OF INFORMATION RECORDING OPTICAL BEAM

PURPOSE:To obtain a color print with always proper color arrangement by measuring the surface potential values of photosensitive bodies corresponding to optical beams and adjusting respective optical beams so that the deviation of respective surface potential values is included within a previously set range. CONSTITUTION:Semiconductor laser driving circuits 41A-41D modulate semiconductor lasers 31A-31D in accordance with a video signal sent from a storage part 35 and respective optical beams are supplied to the photosensitive drums 18A-18D as recording information. The surface potential values of these drums 18A-18D are measured by surface potential measuring instruments 30A-30D. Measured result output signals respectively obtained from the measuring instruments 30A-30D are fed back to the circuits 41A-41D through a light intensity stabilizing signal generating circuit 45. When a specific one out of four measured result output signals is set up as a reference, the circuit 45 generates the light intensity stabilizing signal for including the deviation of other three output signals within the previously set range and outputs the signal to the circuits 41A-41D. Consequently, the light intensity of the four light beams are adjusted so as to be the same.
