An intercommunicating gangway protection for vehicles which are connected to one another in an articulated fashion is formed from at least three beads. The beads are attached to the end side of one of the two vehicles along a surface line running in its longitudinal direction and along a surface line lying opposite this surface line in order to interact with the corresponding end side of the other of the two vehicles. In this way, the beads form with a horizontal roof bead and two vertical side beads as well as, if appropriate, also a floor bead, parts of an intercommunicating gangway protection which is of tunnel-shaped or tubular cross-section between the two vehicles. Each bead 7, 8 gives rise to the shape of a channel which is open towards the inside of the intercommunicating gangway protection and has at least approximately the shape of a semicircle with the same radius for all three or four beads. The roof bead 8 and, if appropriate, the floor bead 8 have, in addition to the bead material necessary for this basic contour, an additional material margin for the deformation of the bead, which margin extends in two parts from longitudinal lines 13 lying on both sides of the apex line of the semicircle to a common longitudinal line within the semicircle (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
