The invention relates to an energy supply chain having a web which connects the two chain belts and whose separating pieces consist of a lower head part, an upper head part and an intermediate part, the intermediate part of at least some of the separating pieces being firmly connected to the lower head part and engaging with the upper head part via a positively locking plug connection. The two head parts are connected to the crossmembers via spring brackets. In the case of such a web, the upper crossmember can be removed with a small number of handles.
