In an open-end spinning apparatus with an electromotive individual drive, a constructional unit consisting of the spinning rotor with its shaft, of the armature of the electric motor and of the two rolling bearings can be exchanged easily. By means of axial bearing faces and mountings maintaining this bearing contact, the requirements, to be placed on a precision bearing, that the bearings should have a narrow bearing clearance, but be held in an axially non-braced manner, can be satisfied.
