A device for heating window washing fluid for motor vehicles with internal combustion engines is presented. Heating is carried out by a boiler which is attached to the exhaust manifold and is provided with in each case one feedline, discharge line and circulation line. Whilst the motor is operating, the window washing fluid is kept permanently at a mean temperature by rolling. When the spray pump is actuated, the circulation is interrupted by a non-return valve and a sufficient quantity of highly heated fluid is available for a cleaning process.
