PURPOSE:To reduce the labor and trouble for the origination of NC data by calling previously originated basic block data onto a CRT screen and originating work data, and teaching welding data based upon said data and generating NC data. CONSTITUTION:An originating device for NC data consists of a CRT 1, a computer CPU 2, a console panel 3, and an auxiliary input device 4. In this data generation, a work is divided into many blocks on a work drawing and only plural basic blocks are extracted from them to register graphics in the CPU 2; and the graphics of those blocks are combined to generate a work graphic form on the screen of the CRT 1. Then, the CPU 2 generates word data automatically. Consequently, data inputted by an operator are only correction data for data of those basic blocks and the inputting operation for the data is reducible.
