The invention relates to a drive for the percussion mechanism of an electropneumatic hammer drill, which contains a wobble plate or component of this kind for converting the rotary input movement into a translatory movement of the drive member (hollow piston) for the percussion body and in which a translatory movement produced by opposed rotation of the drilling-spindle sleeve can be superimposed on the axial movement imposed on the drive member by the wobble drive. In order to avoid a relative rotation here between the drive member and the wobble drive, it is proposed to provide the drilling-spindle sleeve with an elongated hole in which a driving member of the wobble plate is guided.
