1. Apparatus permitting the sealing of leakage in a flange joint on a conduit, of the kind comprising a peripheral collar formed from two half-rings (25) located about the flanges (3) comprising at least one internal centering lip (33) in contact with the flanges and directed radially inwardly to the interior and arranged to lodge between the flanges (3) and interrupted by at least one aperture (7) provided with a valve (9) through which a sealing substance can be injected into the gap separating the flanges, characterised in that the collar (25, 25) comprises about its entire perimeter two smooth lateral wings (31) connected to a thick and rigid central part (30) of the collar and extending from such central part to the exterior and contacting the periphery of the corresponding flanges (3) of the joint, each lateral wing (31) being deformable and mountable on the periphery of the corresponding flange (3) by means of a mounting tool and that the collar (25) comprises two deformable centering lips (33). |
