PURPOSE:To obtain excellent black matrix holes or phosphor-film dots, by installing both means of ejecting and inhaling an ionized gas to remove dust fallen or attached to a filter surface for light-quantity adjustment. CONSTITUTION:The air through an opening pipe is made to pass through a filter 8 for removing dust or the like, and then ionized by the output of an ion generator 9. This ionized air is ejected toward a light-quantity adjustment filter 5 existing inside the supporting stand 6 by using a nozzle 7. The electrically charged dust or the like on the filter 5 is neutralized by this ejection and collected into an inhaling duct 10. Hence, black matrix film holes or phosphor-film dots can be prevented from being deformed or lost caused by the dust or the like on the filter 5.
