PURPOSE:To reduce a time for print hammering strokes and thereby increase printing efficiency by providing a return magnet and a kick spring, eliminating a damping vibration when a hammer pin has finished printing and returned to its original position and accelerating the motion of the hammer pin from the original position to a printing point. CONSTITUTION:The second magnet 9 to attract a moving piece 1 is provided in addition to a magnet 7, and when a hammer pin 4 has finished printing and the moving piece 1 has returned to its original position, a magnetic circuit or the magnet 9 is energized to absorb a kinetic energy of the movenent system of a print hammering mechanism when it returns. After this, the movement system is suddenly braked to stop at the original position, thus eliminating a damping vibration. Further, a kick spring 21 is added and its force is added to the print hammering motion of the moving piece 1 when the next hammering action begins to suddenly accelerate the moving piece 1. In this way, the speed of the hammering stroke is increased and under this constitution, the time for return-to-a home stroke and a hammering stroke can be shortened and the total hammering speed can be increased. |
