The invention relates to a device for sealing a tubular body in a wall opening. The tubular body is enclosed within the wall opening by a stressed compression spring. The compression spring is supported between a stationary abutment on the tubular body and an annular piston which is fixed on said body by an arresting means. Between the annual piston and the sealing flange, the body is enclosed by sealing composition which is compressed in the axial and radial directions, and thus satisfactorily fills the annular space between wall opening and body when the compressed compression spring is relieved of stress and the annular piston is moved in the direction of the sealing flange. As a result, satisfactory sealing of the tubular body in the wall opening is achieved. <IMAGE>
