PURPOSE:To prevent sticking and deformation of a diaphragm in a pump due to the reduction of pressure in an ink container by providing ribs on the inner wall face of a semispherical diaphragm pump in an ink jet recorder. CONSTITUTION:In order to prevent sticking just like a sucker by forming enclosed spaces partitioned by ribs when a pump 11 is collapsed with a strong force, five ribs 32 are formed radially with equal angle on the inner wall face of the pump 11. When a clog preventer is operated, the rib 32 is collapsed easily if a pump lever is subjected to a strong force for pushing the pump, for example, because the rib 32 is made of the same material with the pump, i.e. rubber rush as propyl butyl, and recovered to the original profile when the pump lever is returned. Consequently, the diaphragm of a semispherical pump is not collapsed by the reduced pressure in the ink container, thereby causing no sticking problem to the ink container wall. |
