A gas burner comprises an injector support (Fig. 2) which is to be mounted on the upper panel of a cooker, a crown support (Fig. 4), a crown, and a lid. The injector is located in a body 9 which is connected in use to a gas supply, and is supported on three plates 10. Flanges 11 extend upwardly from the injector above the surface of the upper panel (not shown). The crown support has an annular recess 21 in its underside into which an annular projection 22 extends. The projection 22 has three radial cutouts therein to receive the flanges 11 and to allow them to pass into the recess 21 to locate the crown support on the injector support. The gas supply tube is connected to inlet 8 by a clip engaging over projections 16, Figs. 10 & 11 (not shown). <IMAGE>
