PURPOSE:To match question contents with input data by providing a function for selecting dynamically the next question according to the input data. CONSTITUTION:A data input device consists of a question information storage device 11, a question controller 12 which selects and loads a question to be processed among pieces of question information stored in said device and sends the question, a question display device 13, and an answer input device 14. Then, question information with a determined question number is loaded on the load buffer on the question controller 12 from the question information storage device 11 and a question requesting the input of an answer is displayed on the question display device 13. Then, the answer input is requested with the answer system information of the question information and when an answer is inputted, the next question number table of the question information is collated according to the answer contents. Then, the next question number is taken out and a return to the starting step is made. Those processes are performed repeatedly and data input is carried on to obtain a series of data.
