PURPOSE:To obtain the titled crystallized glass by pulverizing the glass material consisting essentially of SiO2, densely packing the powder into a forming die by utilizing vibration, and heat-treating the molded product to fuse integrally, density, and crystallize the glass powder. CONSTITUTION:The glass material contg., by weight, 45-75% SiO2, <=20% Al2O3, 5-40% CaO, and 2-20% (Na2O+K2O) as the essential components, wherein (SiO2+Al2O3+CaO+Na2O+K2O)>85%, is pulverized into the powder contg. >=70% of <=200-mesh particles. The powder is densely packed into the vibrating forming die of a desired shape by giving 30-180Hz vibration to the die to obtain a vibrating molded product. The product is heat-treated to soften and fuse the particles to each other and to integrate, densify, and crystallize the particles, and wollastonite crystals are substantially deposited. Densification and uniformization can be easily performed even with a large-sized molded body. |
