The present invention concerns a snow shovel comprising a long shaft 11 and a blade 10 arranged at one end of the shaft 11 and in a plane at right angles thereto. The blade comprises a rectangular, flexible and elastically pliant cellular plastic sheet, a rectangular stiffening plate 12 arranged on that side of the cellular plastic sheet directed towards the shaft 11, and a rectangular attachment plate 13 arranged on that side of the cellular plastic sheet directed away from the shaft. The stiffening plate 12 and the attachment plate 13 are arranged in line with each other. The flexible and pliant cellular plastic material of the sheet and the chosen positioning of the stiffening plate 12 and attachment plate 13 at a distance from that edge of the sheet facing the ground permits very effective shovelling of snow, even on uneven surfaces, without the shovel striking against obstacles. <IMAGE> |
