A workpiece arranging device comprising a conveyor which transports the parts to be arranged and at least one adjustable arranging element which sweeps aside parts which are badly positioned on the conveyor or rest on other parts. The device is characterized by the fact that the arranging element(s) are guided by a guide system and can be moved by a drive over a specified distance detected by displacement transducer. In this way it is possible to adapt the arranging elements to different workpieces, by means of a control, without considerable expenditure.
