PURPOSE:To obtain a primer composition effective in improving water-resistant adhesivity, heat-resistant adhesivity, etc., of an adhesive, by compounding a specific amount of a mercaptosilane compound, etc., to a mixture of an alkoxy- containing polysiloxane and a hydroxyl-containing organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.(wt.) of a mixture of (A1) an alkoxy-containing polysiloxane having the unit of formula I [R<1> is (substituted) alkyl; a is number to give an average ratio of OR<1> group of >=10wt%] and (A2) a hydroxyl- containing organopolysiloxane having the unit of formula II [R<2> is univalent (substituted) hydrocarbon group; b is a number having average value of 0.8-1.8; c is a number to give an average ratio of OH group of >=0.01wt%] is compounded with (B) 0.2-20pts. of a reaction product of a mercaptosilane compound and/or aminosilane with an epoxysilane and (C) 0.4-8pts. of a condensation reaction catalyst and diluting and dissolving the composition in (D) an organic solvent (e.g. benzene) to a total solid content of 3-70%.
