PURPOSE:To improve printing quality at the time of the high speed rotation of a grooved cam, by eliminating the clearance between the groove of the grooved cam and a head driving pin by utilizing a tapered shape. CONSTITUTION:A head driving pin 2 has a conical truncated taper spacer 5 slidable to the direction show by an arrow (d) and the clearance between the groove of a grooved cam and the head driving pin 2 at the time of engagement is eliminated by a spring 4 pressing the taper spacer 5 to the groove of the grooved cam 1 and the head driving pin 2 fixed to a head 3 is engaged with the groove of the grooved cam 1 to follow the groove of the grooved calm 1 to perform reciprocating motion in the direction shown by an arrow (e).
