1. Radial ball bearing consisting of two bearing parts (1, 2, 16, 18) arranged concentrically in each other and having one ball groove each in peripheral surfaces facing each other, in which grooves roll a set of balls (5), one (1, 18) of these bearing parts (1, 2, 16, 18) being stationary while the other (2, 16) rotates and the ball groove (7, 11, 12, 17) of the stationary bearing part (1, 18) having a uniform groove depth over the whole periphery but enclosing the balls (5) with differing axial clearance at different points of the periphery, the groove contour merging continuously from the one part of the periphery into the other, characterized in that the ball groove (7, 11, 12, 17) of the stationary part (1, 18) comprises two peripheral points (9) diametrically opposite to each other at which it encloses the balls (5) only with slight clearance whereas at two peripheral points (8), also diametrically opposite to each other and located between the first-mentioned peripheral points (9) in the peripheral direction, the ball groove (7, 11, 12, 17) is clearly wider than the ball contour. |
