PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a recording amplifier and to eliminate unnecessary high-band components by emphasizing a prescribed high band of a digital signal to be recorded with the first means and attenuating a band having a clock frequency or higher of the digital signal with the second means and providing the first and second means in series. CONSTITUTION:The digital signal supplied to an input terminal of a recording circuit is applied to a parallel circuit of a resistor 2 and a capacitor 3 to emphasize a prescribed high-band component of the input signal. This signal which has the high-band component emphasized is allowed to press a variable resistor 5 and is amplified by an amplifier 7, and the characteristic in the high band side of the output is smoothed by a parallel circuit of a resistor 8 and a capacitor 9. The output is applied to an LPF circuit consisting of transistors 12 and 15, a floating capacity 30, resistors 20 and 21, etc., to attenuate the clock frequency or higher of the digital signal. Thus, the burden of the recording amplifier is reduced and unnecessary high-band components are eliminated.
