PURPOSE:To eliminate the redundancy in terms of the system constitution and to obtain an information processor having high cost performance, by deleting partially the fault functions provided to all plural processors as the duplicated functions. CONSTITUTION:If a processor 2-1, for example, outputs the wrong data, a deciding circuit 5 for processor containing fault processing function refers to the requester identification signal 102 outputted from a request stack 4 and the fault report signal 103 outputted from a main memory 7 in response to the inputs of these signals. Then it is decided that a fault is due to the error of the write data outputted from the processor 2-1. Here another processor 1-1, for example, is selected out of those processors 1-1-1-n1 having fault processing functions in place of the processor 2-1 having no fault processing function. Then the signal 103 is sent to the processor 1-1 and the prescribed fault processing is carried out.
