PURPOSE:To make the size of a unit compact by making a specified installation space as an outdoor unit unnecessary, by preventing defrosting because natural draft is not prevented, and also to utilize solar heat, by composing the outer casing of a hot-water storage tank by a heat exchanger in which pipes with fins are vertically juxtaposed. CONSTITUTION:The hot-water tank 1 of a heat pump type hot-water supplier has a heat exchanger 2 of natural convection type, which is monolithically assembled in one side of the frame 3 of outer casing of a tank 1. The heat exchanger 2 of natural convection type is composed of a plurality of pipes with fins which are vertically arranged in the heat exchanger 2. With such an arrangement, heat exchanging operation can be smoothly taken place by natural convection and few dust is collected on it. In case that solar heat is utilized by the heat exchanger 2, it is to be coated in black and is to be installed in a sunny site. |
