<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title small-sized and lightweight high-speed rotary joint for transferring a fluid by regulating the clearance between a permanent magnet at the fixed part and a ferromagnetic body opposed to the magnet to secure a sealing pressure. CONSTITUTION:The strong and small-sized permanent magnet 4 is fixed at the lower part of a casing 1, a regulating member 8 is fixed at the upper part by a fixing member 7, a holder 2 is abutted, and a rotary bearing 3 is fitted in the joint for transferring a fluid between a high-speed rotating part and the fixed part through a surface seal. The joint is sealed with the bearing 3 and the rotating part 6 furnished with the ferromagnetic body 5 opposed to the magnet 4, the regulating member 8 and the casing 1 are relatively dislocated to change the clearance between the magnet 4 and the magnetic body 5, and the sealing pressure is changed. The sealing pressure is easily controlled in this way, and the small-sized and lightweight high-speed rotary joint for transferring a fluid is obtained.</p> |
