STACK GAS DESULFURIZING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent the shortage of an absorbent and to maintain desulfurization performance by detecting the amt. of SOx and Cl components in an exhaust gas and supplying the absorbent of the amt. based on the detected values. CONSTITUTION:The concn. of the SOx in the exhaust gas is determined by a concn. meter 10 and the concn. of the Cl therein by a concn. meter 11. The concns. are respectively multiplied by the value from a flow meter 12 in multipliers 13, 14 and the results thereof are further added by an adder 15, by which the absolute amt. of the SOx and Cl in the exhaust gas is determined. The absolute amt. obtd. in such a manner is inputted to a converter 16 by which the theoretical amt. of the absorbent 2 is calculated. The amt. is inputted to a calculator 17 and is multiplied by the excess rate from a setter for the excess rate of the absorbent to calculate the amt. of the absorbent 2 to be actually supplied. The value is divided by the concn. of the absorbent 2 obtd. by the concn. meter 19 and the result thereof is inputted to a controller 20 which collates the same with the signal from the flow meter 21 and controls the opening or closing of a flow rate control valve 22.
