PURPOSE:To provide a make-up cosmetic containing a pressure-collapsible spherical alumina as a component, having high make-up effect and applicability and giving excellent feeling to the skin. CONSTITUTION:A make-up cosmetic such as face powder, foundation, cheek rouge, eye shadow, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrow pencil, etc., is compounded with 1-70wt% spherical alumina which is collapsible with pressure and preferably has an aggregated particle diameter of 1-100mum on an average. The make-up cosmetic produced by this process has various excellent applicability and usability such as spreadability and affinity to the skin, soft feeling to the skin, excellent adhesivity and capability to give well-finished skin. In the case of a press cosmetic, it can be easily removed from the applied skin and has high sliding property, etc.
