<p>PURPOSE:To prevent midnight electric power from being used at the same time by all equipments, by detecting the remaining quantity of hot water or cold water in a storage tank nearly in the period of starting time for use of midnight electric power, and by determining the starting time of heating or cooling for each equipment by calculating the necessary time of heating or cooling by the midnight electric power, based on the detected quantity of water. CONSTITUTION:A hot-water temperature detecting part 1 detects the remaining quantity of hot water in a storage tank and the temperature in the top and the bottom parts of water. An input part 5, a memory part 6, and a timer 3 work to input or store each physical quantity related to the tank and data related to the midnight electric power time zone, that is, the outer surface area of a tank and the coefficient of over-all heat transmission of it. A tempera ture detecting part 2 receives those data and feeds them into a microcomputer 4 together with the outdoor temperature which is detected by the part 2 itself. On receiving signals of those data from the part 2, the microcomputer 4 calculates the necessary time to heat or cool the water in the storage tank. The result is subtracted from the final time of midnight electric power time zone. In such a manner, the starting time of heating or cooling can be obtained.</p> |
