摘要 PURPOSE:To control tread variations in time of rebounding, by supporting a wheel support with a swing arm and three pieces of lateral links, while specifying a setup position of each of these lateral links and the length of each link. CONSTITUTION:A rear suspension supports a wheel support 16 supporting a rear wheel 12 rotatably to a car body by means of a swing arm 11 extending in a longitudinal direction of the car body and supported to the car body free of rocking motion in vertical directions, and first and third lateral links 13-15 extending in a lateral direction of the car body. In this case, these second and third links 14 and 15 are set up more rearward the car body than the first link 13 and the second link 14 is set up so as to make it more upward than the third link 15. In addition, the second link 14 is formed to be shorter than the third link 15 while the first link 13 is formed to be shorter than both second and third links 14 and 15. With this constitution, tread variations in time of bumping or rebounding are controllable, thus stability is improvable.
