PURPOSE:To increase the thickness of varnish film and improve insulating property and need no process for removing collected varnish in a can, by fitting a frame outside a stator core with a fitted coil, and by dipping a stator in varnish to dry the stator with the end section directed downward. CONSTITUTION:On a stator core l, a coil 2 is fitted, and a stator 3 is manufactured, and on the stator 3, a steel plate frame 4 is fitted. In this state, the stator 3 is dipped in varnish solution 8 collected in a tank 7, and the tank 7 is closed, and the solution 8 is sucked up by a vacuum pump 9. After that, the stator 3 is taken out of the tank 7, and is dried together with the steel plate frame 4 which is vertically set with the end end section directed downward. After that, a fitted-on section processing process for processing the fitted-on section 12 for fitting the steel plate frame 4 on the end section housing exactly, follows.
