PURPOSE:To prevent a crack from generating, etc., by inserting compulsorily a magnetic core in which a gap is prepared, and a part of which is opened, and a back core to connect the opening part of the magnetic core, to a holding groove formed at a holding core made of a ceramics. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core 2 in which a recording/reproducing coil 5 is fitted in advance, and a back core are inserted compulsorily into the holding groove 8 of a holding core 7, and they are held in a fixed state, and the back core 6 is connected between the opening parts of the magnetic core 2. And they are fixed by crimping the back core 6 and the magnetic core 2 strongly with the aid of strong tension of a material forming the holding core 7. In this way, the magnetic core 2 and the back core 6 can be connected without using an organic sticking agent, and it is possible to prevent the increasing of magnetic resistance, and the lowering of head efficiency, and also, to prevent the magnetic core 2 from peeling from the back core 6, or the crack from generating.
