<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the drag braking and to achieve a smooth brake function by providing a multiboard brake mechanism between a case and a driven clutch member while providing a clutch engaging section between a drive clutch rotatable integrally with a drive shaft and the driven clutch member. CONSTITUTION:An internal tooth clutch gear 7 is provided at the flange section of a driven clutch member 6. A multi-board brake mechanism 9 is constructed with a brake plate 10 and a brakeshoe plate 11 engagable respectively with projections 1a, 6a formed on the inner circumferential face of a brake case and the outer circumference of the driven clutch member 6. When a drive clutch member 13 is driven by a brake arm 15 while resisting against a spring 17, clutch gears 7, 14 are geared to press the brake plate 10 against the brakeshoe plate through a pressure plate 12 by means of the driven clutch member 6 so as to produce the brake function. Consequently, the drag braking is not produced and smooth brake function can be exhibited.</p> |
