PURPOSE:To start a playing simply and quickly without damaging a compact disk by motioning a disk tray only at the time when the compact disk is completely fitted to the disk tray. CONSTITUTION:A disk sensor 4 outputs a detection signal to a discriminating circuit 5 when a compact disk is fitted on a disk tray 1. The circuit 5 discriminates as to whether the respective sensor of plural sensors provided becomes in a working state altogether or not and the compact disk is completely fitted to the disk tray 1 or not. The signal showing that the disk is completely fitted is transmitted from the circuit 5 in case of being fitted completely. Accordingly a signal processing is performed by a system microcomputor 6 and a playing state comes in by automatically closing the disk tray. The playing is therefore not performed unless the fitting is complete.
