PURPOSE:To keep a mildewproofing effect against all mildews over a long period of time and to prevent a joint mixture from being discolored by ultraviolet light, by adding a tetrafluoroisophthalonitrile mildewproofing agent to a joint mixture for tile. CONSTITUTION:A joint mixture for tile contains a tetrafluoroisophthalonitrile (hereinafter referred to as TFIPN) mildewproofing agent. Examples of the TFIPN mildewproofing agent are TFIPN itself and its derivatives such as polyester type polymers of TFIPN. Pref. the TFIPN mildewproofing agent is used in an amount of not less than 0.003wt% based on the total amount of the joint mixture. Examples of the base material for the joint mixture are cement mortar materials and org. resins.
