发明名称 SUPERCONDUCTING COIL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high reliability superconducting coil by winding a superconducting wire material around a bobbin made of a ceramic material. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic material is used for a coil bobbin and the electric insulating property and the heat-resisting property of the ceramic material are utilized. There are many ceramic materials such as alumina and these may be selectively used by considering processing characteristics, mechanical strength, economy, etc. A superconducting coil is made by winding an extremely thin multicore type copper-stabilized Nb3Sn system superconducting wire material 2 coated with a glass fiber insulating material around a bobbin 1 integrally formed with the ceramic materials of a drum 11 and a flange 12 and by filling an epoxy resin for fixing. The superconducting wire material 2 is wound around the bobbin 1 in the state of a wire material before an Nb3Sn system superconducting compound is formed and later, the Nb3Sn system compound is formed by heat treatment. This makes no danger of p short-circuit even if the glass fiber between the bobbin 1 and the wire material 2 is damaged since the bobbin 1 is made of the ceramic material.
