PURPOSE:To easily print graphics on a line printer by outputting to the line printer after developing graphics data described according to a picture description command on an image buffer. CONSTITUTION:A data analyzing section 1 opens a designated data file and analyzes the content, sends graphics data to a data buffer 2, and sends character data directly to a print processing section 6. A graphics data developing section 3 analyzes graphics data stored in the data buffer, develops to data of dot image and stores in an image buffer 4 or 5. Thus, when the graphics are described according to predetermined picture description command in a user's program, the graphics data are analyzed by a graphics data developing means, and developed automatically to data of dot image.
