PURPOSE:To perform information from a terminal side to a host side by audible information by transmitting/receiving the information of voice or pushbutton signal through a telephone line between a pushbutton type telephone set and a personal computer. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone subscriber requiring information calls a telephone set 6 by pushbutton operation from a telephone set 7, the inputted voice signal is converted into a digital signal by an A/D conversion circuit 16, the signal is outputted at prescribed timing by a first-in first-out memory FiFo 17 and it is written on a magnetic disk 11 by a personal computer 1. Then the personal computer 1 reads data corresponding to the information request from the magnetic disk 11 and inputs it to the FiFo 14. The data subjected to timing adjustment is inputted to a D/A conversion circuit 13, outputted from a speaker as an analog voice signal and inputted to the telephone set 7 through the telephone set 6 and a telephone line.
