PURPOSE:To improve the softness and flexibility of the obtained amino resin molding material, by adding additives to a resin-impregnated material formed by impregnating a reinforcement with an amino resin solution and an acrylate polymer. CONSTITUTION:An amino resin molding material is obtained by adding additives such as a curing agent and a mold release to a resin-impregnated base obtained by impregnating a reinforcement with an amino resin solution and an acrylate polymer and drying the resin, grinding and mixing the mixture and, if necessary, pelletizing the ground product. The amount of the acrylate polymer added is preferably 1-20wt% based on the total of the amino resin and the acrylate polymer. As the reinforcements, pulp, wood flour, cloth chips, etc., can be used. As the additives, a curing agent, a mold release, a colorant and, optionally, a filler, a surfactant, etc., can be used. |
