PURPOSE:To prevent a camera body from becoming longer in the horizontal direction, by moving a partial optical member of a photographic optical system in the direction being orthogonal to a photographic optical axis, and also, being orthogonal to the running direction of a photosensitive surface. CONSTITUTION:At the time of switching a standard photographing state to a telephotographing state, it is executed by moving a lens barrel 7 in the lower direction (the direction as indicated with an arrow A) so that an optical axis of a main lens system 1 is positioned on the front optical axis of a sub-lens system 2. In such a state, in case of telephotographing, a luminous flux from an object to be photographed 20, which is made incident on the main lens system 1 is reflected by the first reflecting mirror 3 and the second reflecting mirror 4 through a shutter 5 and the sub-lens system 2, and thereafter, the light is led to a photosensitive surface 6. In such a way, it becomes unnecessary to widen an interval between a spool chamber and a cartridge chamber, therefore, it can be prevented that a camera body becomes long in the horizontal direction.
