PURPOSE:To prevent a dew drop generated by an environmental variation so that an out-of-focus image and the drop of the reliability are not generated, by providing a preventing means of the dew drop which is generated on the light emitting surface of a light emitting means, or the light emitting surface and the incident surface of an image forming element. CONSTITUTION:An LED array chip 12 is stuck by silver paste, etc., onto a substrate 11 together with a driving IC 13, and a printed board 14, and a selfoc lens 10 is positioned precisely by a cover 9. To the printed board 14, a power source line and a signal line from a connector 17 are attached, the connector 17 is fixed by an epoxy resin 15 to a connector fitting plate 18, and the connector fitting plate is fixed to the cover so that the inside of the cover 9 is cut off from the open air and becomes en enclosed state. An inert gas, etc., are sealed into the cover inside being in the enclosed state. In this way, even if an optical write is operated in such an atmosphere as a dew drop is generated, it does not occur that the dew drop is generated on the light emitting surface of a light emitting means or the incident surface of an image forming element.
