PURPOSE:To enable temperature control and prevention of superheating of a heater at a time, by a method wherein a device operating an electrification factor and displaying an operation result is provided on a temperature control meter performing temperature control of a heating cylinder of an injection molding machine. CONSTITUTION:As for an electrification state until the temperature arrives at a preset temperature Ts, when electrification time is Sn to fixed time t, though Sn/t is close to l and electrification is being performed to the extent of 100-80%, when the tempera ture arrives at the preset temperature Ts, now it is sufficient to maintain the tempera ture Ts as it is and the Sn/t becomes an extent of 0.5-0.6, that is, an electrification factor of 50-60%. Therefore, actual electrification time becomes S1+S2+S3+...+ Sn=SIGMASn within fixed time nt and an electrification factor becomes SIGMASn/ntX100% to operate the electrification factor. When the titled meter is so constituted that it raises alarm in the case where the electrification factor has been operated as mentioned above and a result of operation has exceeded a preset allowable electrification factor, it is unnecessary for a worker to monitor a temperature control meter every time, response is quick and superheating of a heating cylinder and damage of a heater caused by the superheating of the heater can be prevented.
