PURPOSE:To allow a user to control plural devices by one remote control by providing a light receiving circuit receiving remote control signals from other remote controllers and a nonvolatile memory that writes and stores the remote control signals received by the light receiving circuit and rendering a user to arbitrarily fetch and write plural remote control signals. CONSTITUTION:The infrared remote control signals transmitted from other remote controllers 10 are received by the light receiving circuit 13 and stored in the nonvolatile memory 15 through a microcomputer 19. Next, when the channel ascending button of a display part 6 and a key matching to the other remote controller 10 are pressed, the remote control signal is stored in the nonvolatile memory 15. All the required remote control signals are written and stored in the nonvolatile memory 15 through the same operation. The prescribed key on a keyboard 11 is selected to press a touch key displayed on the display part 6, whereby the remote control signals stored in the nonvolatile memory 15 are transmitted toward devices to be controlled from a light output circuit 12. Finally the devices are operated by remote control.
