<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the title device without degrading the efficiency of the documentation by displaying the explanations of the function keys to executed the various functions possessed by the device in a part of a display device. CONSTITUTION:In the display device cathode-ray tube, the operational explanation of guide display keys GDK is displayed. The location of the display is made stationary regardless of the manipulation of a cursor. By the depressing of either one of the function keys FNKn (n=1, 2, ...), the explanation of the processing to be actuated by said one of the keys FNKn is displayed. Also, the explanations of the functions actuated by depressing plural keys are made displayed by the depressing of the corresponding keys. As a result, at a time when the confirmation or knowing of the contents of various functions of the device is desired for documentation or edition, the contents of the functions are displayed in the part of the display device in addition to the display of documentation information yet inputted. The various functions are thus known by the operator conveniently.</p> |
