PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a complicated processing such as interrupting processing by executing the fetching and displaying of measured data in a key input and the same routine as for key input. CONSTITUTION:The measuring data from a measuring control device 5 are fetched into a personal computer 4. After the computer 4 executes the prescribed measuring processing if necessary the result or the measuring data are displayed on a CRT 2. On the other hand, the key input is executed from a keyboard 3, then, the computer 4 judges it, and when the key input is a data key, the result or the key input data are sent to the device 5, the device 5 is operated and a material testing machine is operated. The computer 4 displays the input key at the CRT 2. Thereafter, the beginning of the routine is returned again, and the fetching of the measuring data, from the device 5, the fetching of the key input, the discriminating of the key and the displaying of the input key are repeated. By the above-mentioned method, the fetching and displaying of the measuring data are not stopped at the time of the key input and the interrupting processing is not necessary.
