PURPOSE:To prevent sticking of blocking to the top end part of a molten metal outflow cylinder by injecting part of high-pressure fluid and low-pressure fluid in parallel with the inside and outside surfaces of the molten metal outflow cylinder at the time of injecting the high-pressure fluid from diagonally above to the flow of the molten metal which flows downward in the molten metal outflow cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal 32 in a crucible 22 is allowed to flow downward through a molten metal protective cylinder 24 and the molten metal outflow cylinder 10. The relatively high-pressure fluid (gaseous nitrogen, etc.) is at the same time introduced from a high-pressure fluid introducing port 18 provided to a nozzle body 4 into a pressure chamber 16 and is injected diagonally downward so as to form a funnel shape from the 1st fluid ejection hole 21 toward the molten metal 32 which flows down from the top end of the molten metal outflow cylinder 10 to put the molten metal 32 into a mist state 40. Metallic powder is thus obtd. Part of the high-pressure fluid in the pressure chamber 16 is ejected from the 2nd fluid ejection hole 23 perpendicularly downward along the outside peripheral wall of the molten metal outflow cylinder 10; at the same time, the relatively low-pressure fluid introduced from an auxiliary fluid passage 30 is ejected perpendicularly downward from a fluid passage 26 along the inside peripheral wall of the molten metal outflow cylinder 10. The sticking of the blocking to the top end of the molten metal outflow part 10 is thereby prevented.
