PURPOSE:To efficiently dissolve oxygen, by performing the aeration of water to be treated after mixing a particle comprising a substance having specific gravity higher than that of water such as a stone powder, glass, plastics or an ore in said water. CONSTITUTION:A treated water outtake port 8 is provided to a part, where dissolved oxygen gathers, in the vicinity of the center of the vortex of a water stream. Apparatuses 6, 7, which allow water to flow in so as to act against the water stream due to aeration or to accelerate the speed thereof by using a part or all of inflow water while preventing speed differences between the water stream, air bubbles and particles from growing too small, are provided. In addition, in performing aeration, a particle comprising a solid substance having specific gravity higher than water and hardly soluble in water (e.g., a stone powder, glass, plastic or an ore) is mixed in water. |
