PURPOSE:To feed back energy quickly and positively by mounting a capacitor for recovering energy to a discharge path for a snubber capacitor and feeding back the stored energy of the capacitor for recover ing energy to a DC power supply through a flyback type converter. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 8 recovering the energy of snubber capacitors 41U, 41X is fitted to the common discharge path of the snubber capacitors 41U, 41X for snubber circuits 4U, 4X. The stored energy of the capacitor 8 is fed back to a DC power supply by a flyback type covnerter 9 conducting high-frequency switching operation. The flyback type converter 9 is constituted of a GTO 9A, a choke coil 9B and a diode 9C.
