PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a monomer, etc., readily in high yield and in high purity, by using an alkali metallic phosphate as a catalyst and subjecting (meth)acrylic acid methyl ester and an alkylamino-alcohol to ester exchange reaction. CONSTITUTION:(meth)acrylic acid methyl ester shown by formula I and an alkylkamino-alcohol such as a compound shown by formula II shown by formula III (R1 is H or 1-6C alkyl; R2 is 1-6C alkyl; n is 2-6) are subjected to ester exchange reaction by the use of an alkali metallic phosphate selected from sodium phosphate, potassium phosphate, rubidium phosphate and phosphate hydrates thereof preferably dissolved in methanol as a catalyst preferably at 50-120 deg.C preferably 10-760mmHg preferably while removing methanol out of the reaction system to give the aimed compound such as a compound shown by formula IV, etc. USE:An improver for dyeing fibers, plastic antistatic agent, etc. |
