PURPOSE:To convert the thermal energy of a high pressure gas efficiently into electrical energy by periodically shrinking an annulus ring formed by a liquid metal in the radial direction by gas pressure and working a magnetic field in the predetermined direction to the annulus ring. CONSTITUTION:An annulus ring P shaped by a liquid metal 35 is turned integrally together with a rotary vessel l. When the annulus ring P is shrunk against centrifugal force by gas pressure from a high-pressure gas reservoir tank 32, the rotational energy of the annulus ring P is increased, and rotational angular velocity is speeded up. Consequently, relative speed is generated between magnetic fields by permanent magnets 16, 25, and an electric field in the radial direction is generated in the annulus ring. The electromotive force is extracted to the outside through an electrode 18. When the rotational energy of the annulus ring P is reduced, gas pressure is weakened. A pulse output at a predetermined period is transmitted to the outside by repeating the operation.
