The vacuum cleaner is equipped with three walls 1, 2, 3, constituting three sheaths 4, 5, 6, and an enclosure 26 separated into two parts by the partition 27. A fan 7 sucks air through the outer sheath 4 which, after passage in a filter 12, is pulsed against the ground, in the central enclosure 6, thus creating an air cushion. The air is then taken up by the intermediate sheath 5 and, after passage in a filter 11, is expelled by a turbine 7 of the fan towards the outside 22 through a sheath 10. The triple air circuit, twice upwards, once downwards, ensures dedusting. A flexible tube 25 is not necessary, but can be connected. An attractive padded covering enables it to be used as a pouffe, placed permanently in the living room. <IMAGE>
